"The $10 Trillion Prize: Captivating the Newly Affluent in China and India" is written by a team of authors: Michael J. Silverstein, Abheek Singhi, Carol Liao and David Michael. It is published by Harvard Business Review Press.

While the world economy teeters, there is an emerging middle class that is worth close to $10 Trillion to the companies that woo them. This book is written by a group of authors who go into detail about who these consumers are, where they are from, how they think, how they shop and how their needs are changing as the economy turns.

Here are just a few of the interesting facts you will find in this book:

- In the next ten years there will be 1 billion middle class consumers in China
- India and China colleges will graduate 135 million students compared to just 30 million in the USA
- The number of billionaires in China has grown from 1 to 115 in the last ten years

An appendix explains the regional differences with China and India.
