"Confronting Capitalism" , despite what the title might suggest, is about improving capitalism by pointing out where it can and should be better. According to the book, capitalism is failing horribly in at least 14 areas including debt, rising poverty and equitable income generation, environmental decline, excessive influence of wealthy in areas outside of business (policy, etc.), and more. We've all heard of the "Occupy Wallstreet" movement, the increasingly astronomical salaries of CEOs, and the holding steady (or declining) wages of the everyday worker. This book delves into why this is happening and what we can and should do about it.
