The author is a successful businessman with four decades of business experience, who has distilled what he considers essential knowledge business owners must have, down into seven facts of life. These, he writes, are the "seven business concepts that every entrepreneur or business owner who hopes to succeed must have... including exhibiting leadership, maintaining control, protecting the company's assets, planning, marketing effectively, having a warrior mentality, and understanding business."
Each fact has a separate chapter devoted to it. For example, the chapter on "understanding business" in general is about understanding product, people, accounting and finance, and yourself. He further breaks it down into five different stages in the lifecycle of the business, and what those mean for each fact.
