"Project Management for Profit: A Failsafe Guide to Keeping Projects On Track and On Budget" is written by Joe Knight, Roger Thomas, and Brad Angus and published by Harvard Business Review Press.

This book is intended for company owners and project managers, for both large and small businesses. It aims to show you how to run projects differently in an effort to keep your projects on track and on budget.

The book is divided into 3 parts:

- Laying the Foundation: explains how the authors' project management system came to be, fueled by a small company's struggle to reconcile project cost in its accounting.

- Putting The System to Work: covers usable metrics and approaches, especially for managing expenses and time.

- Getting The Most Bang For Your Buck: covers establishing scorecards and metrics to monitor progress.
