"The Art of Being Unreasonable: Lessons in Unconventional Thinking" is written by Eli Broad and published by Wiley.

This book encourages entrepreneurs to ask "why not?" Eli Broad illustrates his point of being unreasonable with colorful stories from his successful business history.

Broad has never been a conventional thinker. In creating two Fortune 500 companies, earning billions of dollars, and engaging in local philanthropic endeavors in Los Angeles, Broad has always acted, according to others, unconventional. And yet it's these very characteristics that have made him the success he is.

Part autobiography and part business lesson, this book provides a lesson in each chapter, while weaving Broad's story throughout. Each chapter centers around a single lesson, which is colored by Broad's own experience.
