"The Click Moment: Seizing Opportunity in an Unpredictable World" is written by Frans Johansson and published by Portfolio Hardcover.

Author Frans Johansson takes a look at how success is actually more of a function of random events than we may have originally thought. Success isn't so much doing the right things right as it is being prepared to take advantage of these random events.

"The Click Moment" provides examples of people who learned how to leverage an unexpected moment and turn it to their success:

- When Diane Von Furstenberg saw Julie Nixon wearing a matching skirt and top, the idea for her timeless wrap dress was born.

- Starbucks only sold coffee beans until CEO Howard Schultz visited Milan and had the experience of drinking coffee in a cafe.

- Nike couldn't figure out how to invent a spikeless trainer until a legendary running coach poured latex on a waffle iron.

These ideas, which Johansson calls "click moments," are meant to encourage readers to consider what opportunities they can take advantage of. The premise of this book is that by recognizing random moments and determining how to use them, readers can grow their businesses successfully.
